Generating Listings

Step by step

  1. Go to your Dashboard
  2. Select a Category — or leave it on Auto-detect and the AI will figure it out
  3. Type your item description in the Item Details box
  4. Click Generate
  5. Six platform cards appear — one for each platform — each with its own optimized title and description

Tips for better results

The more detail you give, the better your listings will be. The AI will tell you what's missing as you type. Here's what to include:

  • Brande.g. Nike, Levi's, Coach, Pyrex
  • Conditione.g. new with tags, excellent used, minor fading on collar
  • Sizee.g. Large, size 10, 32x30
  • Colore.g. navy blue, off-white, burgundy
  • Materiale.g. 100% cotton, genuine leather, cast iron
  • Any flawse.g. small stain on hem, missing button

Example — Good description

"Vintage Levi's 501 jeans, size 32x30, dark wash denim, excellent used condition — no rips, no stains. Made in USA tag."

Using Your Listings

Copying and pasting

Each platform card has two copy buttons — one for the title and one for the description. Copy them separately and paste each into the right field on the platform.

  1. Find the platform card you want (e.g. eBay)
  2. Tap Copy Title — go to eBay's listing form and paste it into the Title field
  3. Come back, tap Copy Desc — paste it into the Description field
  4. Done for that platform. Repeat for the others.
  5. Use the List ↗ button to open that platform's create-listing page directly

⚠️ Important

Copy the title and description separately — don't try to copy the whole card at once. Each platform has separate title and description fields that need to be filled in individually.

Editing listings before copying

Want to tweak something? Click directly on any title or description and edit it right on the card. Your edits are saved in the card for that session — the copy buttons will use your edited version.

Suggested prices

Each card shows a suggested price range based on AI estimates for that item on that platform. These are starting points — always verify against actual sold listings before pricing.

Click the Verify ↗ link next to the price to open that platform's sold listings search for your item.

Your generation history

Every generation is saved automatically. Go to History to see your last 50 generations. Pro users can export their history to CSV.

Uploading Photos Pro

How it works

Pro users can upload up to 10 photos and the AI will analyze them to write listings — identifying the brand, condition, color, and details visible in the photos.

  1. On the Dashboard, tap the photo upload area
  2. Take a photo or choose from your library — you can add up to 10
  3. Add any extra details in the Item Details box that aren't visible in the photos (size, condition notes, etc.)
  4. Hit Generate — the AI reads the photos and writes all 6 listings

Tips for better photo results

  • • Make sure brand tags and labels are visible in at least one photo
  • • Include a photo of any flaws so the AI can describe them honestly
  • • Good lighting makes a big difference — natural light works best
  • • For clothing, include front, back, and tag photos
  • • Still add a note in Item Details for anything the photos can't show (e.g. size, measurements)

Thrift Scout 🔎 Pro

What it does

Thrift Scout is your sourcing assistant. Snap a photo of an item at the thrift store and it tells you instantly whether it's worth buying — with resale estimates across all 6 platforms, a profit and ROI calculation, and a clear BUY / MAYBE / PASS verdict.

How to use it in store

  1. Open ListingMorph on your phone and go to Scout
  2. Tap the upload area and take a photo of the item (or upload from your library)
  3. Enter the thrift store's asking price (optional — we'll estimate if you skip this)
  4. Add any extra details you can see that might not be obvious in the photo (brand, size, condition)
  5. Tap Scout This Item
  6. You'll get a BUY / MAYBE / PASS verdict with full price breakdown

Understanding the verdict

✓ BUY

Strong profit potential — good ROI at the asking price. Worth picking up.

? MAYBE

Decent potential but uncertain demand, thin margin, or condition concerns. Use your judgment.

✗ PASS

Not worth it at that price — oversaturated market, too common, or hard to identify.

⚠️ Important

Thrift Scout prices are AI estimates — not live market data. Always verify with eBay sold listings before spending a lot on an item. Use it as a gut-check, not a guarantee.

Generating listings from Scout

After a BUY verdict, tap Generate Listings at the bottom. It'll take you straight to the Dashboard with the item details pre-filled — ready to generate all 6 platform listings instantly.

Bulk Generation Pro

How it works

Instead of generating one item at a time, Bulk lets you type up to 10 items and generate all their listings simultaneously — that's up to 60 listings in under a minute.

  1. Go to Bulk in the navigation
  2. Fill in each item row with a description and category
  3. Add more rows with the Add Item button (up to 10)
  4. Hit Generate All
  5. Each item gets its own expandable result card — tap to open and copy listings
  6. Use Export to CSV to download everything to a spreadsheet

Example — listing a haul

Got back from Goodwill with 8 items? Add them all at once:

1. Vintage Carhartt jacket large brown good condition

2. Nike Air Max 90 size 10 white slight yellowing

3. Coach leather crossbody tan excellent condition

4. Pyrex mixing bowl set 3 piece clear vintage

...and so on

Background Remover 🪄 Pro

How to use it

  1. Go to Background Remover in the navigation
  2. Choose your background color — white is recommended for most platforms
  3. Upload up to 5 photos at once
  4. Hit Remove Background
  5. Each photo gets its own Download button when done
  6. Use Download All to grab everything at once

Background options

  • White — best for most platforms, clean and professional
  • Light Grey — slightly softer than white, works well for dark items
  • Beige — warm neutral, good for vintage and clothing
  • Black — high contrast, good for jewelry and electronics
  • Transparent — PNG with no background, for when you want to add your own

Pro users get 30 background removals per month. Your count resets at the start of each month.

Inventory Tracker Pro

Adding an item

  1. Go to Inventory in the navigation
  2. Click Add Item
  3. Fill in the item name, category, where you sourced it, purchase date, and what you paid
  4. Set status to In Inventory (or Listed if you've already posted it)
  5. Save — your item appears in the inventory list

Marking an item as sold

  1. Click the item row to open it
  2. Change status to Sold
  3. New fields appear — select the platform you sold on, enter sale price, date, and shipping cost
  4. The net profit auto-calculates instantly (sale price minus platform fees, shipping, and what you paid)
  5. Save — the item moves to sold and your dashboard stats update

Importing from a spreadsheet

Already tracking your inventory in Excel or Google Sheets? Import it directly.

  1. Export your spreadsheet as a CSV file
  2. Go to Inventory and click Import CSV
  3. Select your file — the importer will match your column names automatically
  4. Your items appear in the inventory list

The importer recognizes many column name variations. Common ones it understands: Item, Item Sold, Name, Sale Price, Cost of Good, Shipping Cost, Item Location, Status.

Understanding the Dashboard

  • Net Profit — your actual profit after platform fees, shipping, and cost of goods
  • Revenue — total sale prices before deductions
  • ROI — return on investment as a percentage of what you spent
  • Capital Tied Up — total cost of items you haven't sold yet
  • Avg Days to Sell — how long items typically sit before selling

Tax & COGS summary

The Tax tab gives you a year-to-date summary including gross sales, cost of goods sold, platform fees, and an estimated tax set-aside. You can also log business deductions (shipping supplies, mileage, etc.) that reduce your taxable profit.

These are estimates only — not tax advice. Always confirm with a CPA.

Saved Templates

What templates are for

If you sell a lot of the same type of item — Nike shoes, vintage tees, Pyrex — you can save a template with your standard description so you don't have to retype it every time.

Saving a template

  1. Type your item description on the Dashboard
  2. Click the Templates dropdown (next to the Item Details label)
  3. Click Save current
  4. Give it a name (e.g. "Nike sneakers") and save

Loading a template

  1. Click the Templates dropdown
  2. Click any saved template — it instantly fills in the item details and category
  3. Edit anything specific to that item (size, condition, color) then generate

You can save up to 20 templates. Delete old ones from the Templates dropdown to make room.
